Clutch is strong and shifts smooth, but has a slight chatter at idle which is common with these old bimmers, but nothing that effects the drivability and reliability of the car. This car is virtually rust free and has been very well taken care of by an enthusiast. This is my weekend car but i only find myself driving it maybe once every two weeks.
